World War 2 German Field Police

Known by German soldiers of the period as kettenhund or Chain Dogs a reenactor portrays a second world war Field Policeman at the Northallerton Wartime Weekend. He is wearing the classic German Steel Helmet (Stahlhelm) around his neck is a Gasmask canister and his goget. The coat is a waterproof Motorcyclist coat made from rubberised fabric known as a kradmantel
