Ecclesfield Park on an Autumn morning to the left is the Lime Tree Avenue at one third of a mile long it has one tree planted for each Ecclesfield man who was killed in the great war of 1914-1918 and as such is a Living War Memorial. Originally planted in the 1920's there were 53 trees.
